The tsunami of 2004 lashed many parts of the world including India bringing about untold miseries and loss of life to those affected.

The trustees led efforts to raise funds to build houses and give to families in Pondicherry that were badly affected and displaced by the Tsunami.

Donors were the various employees of Mittal Steel and Mr.L.N.Mittal.
