St. Xavier's University, Kolkata

St Xavier's College, Kolkata was founded in 1860 by the Society of Jesus and is a Christian Minority Higher Educational Institution.

Vision SXC 2020 involved developing a modern Business School at Rajarhat. The Trustees of Maheshwari Foundation helped raise nearly US$4 million in 2013 for the expansion project, alongside direct financial contributions from the Foundation.

Update — October 2026

Since 2021, the Foundation has supported eight students at St Xavier's University, Kolkata through the Deo Kumar Maheshwari Scholarship, with INR 16,80,000 committed to date.
