About the Foundation
Who we are. Why we do this.
A family-led charity working across continents — quietly, and for the long term.
Our story
Founded in India in 2010. Registered in the UK in 2011.
Maheshwari Foundation was established in India in March 2010 and registered in the UK in 2011. We work to address illiteracy, hunger and deprivation through initiatives that empower disadvantaged populations across India, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Uganda, Thailand, the United Kingdom and beyond.
We work on the principle that every individual can make a contribution, and it is incumbent upon each one of us who enjoys the licence to live in this world to make our own little contribution. Our vision is to equip people with the tools to discover the inner strength and confidence to find their place in society.
To date, we have committed a minimum of INR 10 crore (approximately US$1.2 million) toward our objectives.
