Uganda Education Scholar

Bwindi, in south-western Uganda, is a remote community where the cost of school fees can decide whether a child stays in education.

Since July 2023, Maheshwari Foundation has supported a young student in Bwindi, paying her school tuition fees each year. We began supporting her when she was in kindergarten, with the aim of seeing her through her schooling.

This support forms part of the Deo Kumar Maheshwari Scholarship, which now funds students in India, Uganda and the Philippines.
