Nausar Mata temple is 1300 years old and situated in the valley of Pushkar in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Thousands of devotees visit this temple every year. The 9 idols of Maa Durga are situated in the womb of the temple situated on the hill. Thus, it is named “Mata” meaning “mother”. It is deeply revered; however, many devotees are unable to visit due to the steep climb of the hill.
